We deliver a wide variety of services throughout the week including support groups, job clubs, fitness activities and volunteer opportunities.

SERVING SALFORD SINCE 2010

The Rec is managed by Salford Involved Community Cooperative, a Not For Profit organisation formed to help tackle the effects of poverty within the local area.

In 2019 Involved reopened the formerly derelict council facility known to locals as The Rec and have since begun the refurbishment of the building.

Now housing a cafe space, fitness suite and various community spaces The Rec plays host to various support services and community groups throughout the week.

Our community cafe offers low cost food and drink to local residents whilst also providing FREE tea and coffee to all the support groups based at the centre.

Our Cafe serves food 5-8pm Mon- Fri/ 10-1pm Sat. During the daytime we use the space to offer FREE hot meals as well as to host various activities.

WE HAVE A FULLY EQUIPPED GYM ON SITE.

WORKOUT YOUR OWN WAY

No Direct Debits, No Sign Up Fee, No Long Term Contracts. Our community gym is available to everyone and we offer special classes throughout the week to the areas most vulnerable resident's.
